Mission Statement

"It is the mission of the Schoharie Land Trust to protect the beauty, land, heritage and rural character of Schoharie County and adjacent areas by acquiring real property, holding conservation easements, and providing technical assistance and planning information to landowners, public agencies, and others interested in safeguarding our natural assets."

Visit Our Preserve

Paulson_tree_thumbLocated in the towns of Jefferson and Summit in Schoharie Co., the Paulson Preserve encompasses 342 acres of land donated to the Land Trust in 1997 by Liselotte Paulson.  The preserve includes a variety of wildllife habitats, including open fields, mixed hardwood and conifer forest and wetlands.   Learn More...
